I think it’s massively important to remember that everyone who enters is a winner. It may sound clichéd, but without entries we’d have no show as Liz said. Looking at all the entries was like going to an exhibition and a number of visitors commented on the quality of the exhibits. Not sure if anyone saw the monster cabbage, or the little mouse, or the fantastic quilts, but I was amazed by the skill and talent of our exhibitors. The Judge’s comment in the bread section stating that all the breads were brilliant and that it was very tough to pick a winner says it all.
Enjoy your summer, and we’ll be back in the Autumn with information about the 2015 show – even if it’s just some gardening advice or discussion on photographic categories.
Stay tuned!
Ian.
